venky decided to trouble puri

As per the latest information, the release of Venkatesh's Guru would be advanced by a week against its original date of April 7th. The makers of Guru are contemplating to prepone the film's release to March last week contrary to April 1st week release.
When contacted, a source close to the development said, "It's not official yet. It could be on March 31st or could be on March 29th. Makers are also considering Ugadi date."

If Guru is advanced to March, it would invariably clash with Puri Jagannadh's Rogue that is slated for release on March 29. Already Puri's team is worried over clashing with biggie like Katamarayuda that is releasing on March 24th and if Venkatesh too join the clash, it'd be a trouble for Puri as Ishaan is a newcomer.

Given that Puri's Rogue is already battling with low buzz, it has to be seen whether Puri steps back or would he request Guru to step back. As of now, there's a great confusion among the release dates and looks like, it all depends on the response of Katamarayuda. If Pawan's Katamarayuda gets good word of the mouth, these films are predicted to postpone. Let's wait and see.
